Hello 🧡

My name is Kat Shakti. My mission in this life is to help women transform their relationship with their bodies. I want to show you how to love yourself again—exactly as you are—and how this loving, supportive approach can help you achieve your weight and appearance goals while making the process enjoyable and easy.

For as long as I can remember, I didn’t accept my body. I would stand in front of the mirror and see everything that was “wrong” with me. I used to pinch my fat with such intense disgust that I sometimes left bruises on my thighs and stomach. I was teased in elementary school, and in high school, I experienced online bullying—cruel comments left on my photos by classmates. I was always the last one picked for sports teams, which made me feel inferior. At one point, I was the heaviest child at a sports camp, leaving me completely isolated because no one wanted to be friends with the “fat girl.” I started my first diet and exercise routine to lose weight when I was just seven years old. For most of my life, I felt fat and unattractive—and, consequently, unworthy of love.

My weight fluctuated constantly until I turned 28 and discovered EFT Tapping. That was the turning point.

One of the statements used in the practice—”Even though I do not accept my body, I choose to love and accept myself anyway”—helped me understand a paradox of personal growth, and by extension, weight loss. To transform myself and my body in a balanced and lasting way, I first had to love myself exactly as I am—not only after achieving a certain figure or weight, or overcoming a character flaw.

I realized that it is virtually impossible to care for my body if I treat it with hostility and hatred. I understood that once I truly loved myself, I would no longer need to punish myself through exercise, food choices, shame, or guilt; instead, I would *want* to do things that benefit my health and weight. I felt a genuine desire to do this for myself and my well-being, rather than to fit a specific standard of beauty.

For years, I worked on improving my relationship with my body using various tools—such as visualization, meditation, affirmations, and yoga—but it was EFT that finally helped me love my body.

Today, I support myself in everything I do and act as my own biggest cheerleader. I am motivated, yet I remain patient and kind to myself.

I have adopted a way of eating that satisfies my taste buds, nourishes my body, and is easy to maintain. I have discovered the joy of movement and activities that serve me well, and I have begun to shed excess weight effortlessly.

Since 2020, I have been inspiring other women to do the same. I help women break free from the trauma and negative beliefs that led to obesity and a toxic self-image. Showing women that it is possible to transform their relationship with their bodies brings me immense joy and fulfillment. I am an EFT practitioner, a Yin Yoga teacher, and an organizer of ceremonies and workshops, as well as an artist and traveler.

My journey with yoga began in 1995 (when I was six) at a children’s camp on a permaculture farm, and it has remained a part of my life ever since. It came and went in waves until 2017, when it finally became a permanent fixture in my life.
In January 2019, I traveled to Rishikesh, India, for three months; I completed a two-month training course (500-hour Yoga Alliance certified) and began leading classes. In 2020, I also started teaching via Zoom and YouTube.

I first encountered EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) in 2016 and immediately knew it was a wonderful tool! Brad Yates (one of the pioneers of EFT) became my favorite teacher; I regularly used his YouTube videos to help myself navigate daily challenges. In 2019, after translating a few rounds for my mom and guiding her through them via Skype, the idea to translate his videos took shape. A week later, I attended a seminar with Brad in London, received his permission and full support, and that’s how it all began.

After running the channel for a year, I realized just how many people I could help with EFT through YouTube alone. This inspired me to become a qualified EFT practitioner, and in February 2022, I earned my certification after training with the wonderful mentor Magdalena RÄ…palska. Today, with a deep sense of love and fulfillment, I help people take personal responsibility for their own lives and well-being. Since then, I have also completed training with the creator of the Matrix Reimprinting method and the “Tapping Out of Trauma” program—an eight-week course for EFT practitioners that focuses on trauma work.

I am constantly expanding my knowledge as a yoga teacher and EFT practitioner. Since completing my training in India, I have participated in numerous courses on yoga and the teaching of this wonderful practice, covering topics such as Yin Yoga and trauma-informed teaching.
